Performance Management - getting the best out of engaged staff


The major goal of performance management is to promote and improve employee engagement and effectiveness. It is an ongoing process where managers and employees work together to plan, monitor and review an employee's work objectives or goals. It can be formal or informal but generally follows set procedures.


Performance agreements form the core requirement of the process. This half day workshop will provide managers with a way to establish agreements and how to have conversations with staff to address performance issues.



Intended Audience:


Managers, team leaders and supervisors who need to set objectives and review performance for their employees. No prior knowledge is required.

As a result of attending this half day training participants will:

 

  • Create a performance agreement (or utilise your company agreement)
  • Plan for performance reviews
  • Set and agree objectives with employees
  • Have courage to have difficult conversations regarding non-performance or other employee issues
